My New Tangle "Joy"

A year ago after showing my neighbor, Barb, how to tangle, I was kind of playing around with some ideas while she was tangling.  She looked at it, said she liked it and called it Joy.  So  . . . .  this is Joy.  It is reminiscent of Ahh!  Joy is also indicative of what tangling has done for me since I retired from teaching.  I always enjoyed teaching so much and was fearful of my retirement.  Rick and Maria's Zentangle art form has really brought much joy to my life. Thanks to them and thanks also to Don McCollum (CZT3) for introducing it to me.

  1. I'm going to give this a try! I started tangling about a year ago at the encouragement of a friend. I look forward to following your blog!

  3. Hello Joyce!

My name is also Joyce, and my last name starts with a "B," so I found your site intriguing. I like your pattern, "Joy," and it fits so well with where my life is right now, I had to start using it in my own 'tangles.

I won't be able to take the CZT training, being a Sabbath keeper, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying Zentangle, and ZIA, very, very much!

Keep on designing, and I look forward to seeing more patterns from you.
